The Partnering for Affordability Homebuilder Toolkit was designed by HouseATL in 2025 for builders of for-sale single-family, townhome and condo properties across metro Atlanta. With this toolkit, homebuilders will gain:

  • Proven strategies to increase affordable for-sale homes
  • Partnership models that have increased the supply of affordable homes in metro Atlanta
  • Resources to secure land and scale production through nonprofit collaboration

The tools and case studies describe how partnerships between homebuilders and nonprofits can drive innovation in home design, maximize capital for affordable for-sale development, and increase investment in local home-builders.

The Partnering for Affordability Homebuilder Toolkit was developed with the support of the WORTH (Wealth Opportunities Realized through Homeownership) Atlanta Collaborative. The WORTH Atlanta Collaborative was funded by Wells Fargo to bring together industry stakeholders working to create and preserve 6,000 homeowners of color in Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties. Many partners were involved in the development of this toolkit. HouseATL is especially grateful for the extensive contributions of HomeAid Georgia and Sovereign Realty and Management.
