HouseATL has worked with Enterprise Community Partners and the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Neighborhood Nexus to develop this Atlanta affordable housing map and analysis, with a focus on preservation of affordable housing. This is a project stemming from the HouseATL recommendations, developed with a cohort of local and state public agencies including the City of Atlanta, Invest Atlanta, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., Atlanta Housing, GA Department of Community Affairs, GA Tech, and the Atlanta Regional Commission.

It is an interactive examination of subsidized affordable housing properties in Atlanta that are potentially at risk of losing their affordability due to subsidy expirations. As you open the tool, you will notice buttons at the top right that provide for different displays of the data. On the top left, you also have the opportunity to apply filters to narrow the data that you are viewing.

Please note that this is the first phase of this project, with future plans including additional metro-wide data, as well as additional functionalities. All data is presented as received by public agencies, as well as the National Housing Preservation Database, and is publicly available data.

Users of the HouseATL Database commit to not using the data to undermine goals of preserving affordable housing.
