Tia McCoy

Director of Neighborhood Engagement, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity

Tia McCoy is an affordable housing champion with over 25 years of experience. Tia has driven great results as a consultant, trainer, realtor, and currently as Director of Neighborhood Engagement for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. She has also served as a Non-profit Homeownership Center director, program compliance reviewer, and workshop facilitator.

Tia served as a subject matter expert and exam writer for the National HUD Housing Counseling Exam and currently writes curriculum and serves on the Faculty for NeighborWorks America. She has provided technical assistance for several community development organizations throughout the Southeast and provided testimony on foreclosure prevention before Congress’s Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Tia is passionate about her work and provides a positive, impactful learning environment in the communities she serves. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission Regional Leadership Institute (RLI) Class of 2025. She has received many recognitions and awards, including The Kenneth Jones/Tony Austin Excellence in Training Award from NeighborWorks America.

A native Floridian, Tia enjoys cooking and photography in her free time.
