Jennifer has worked in every level of government as well as the private sector and here are a few appointments, accomplishments, and volunteerism efforts she is passionate about: While working at Georgia Department of Economic Development (BKA: Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism), Ms. Freeman was appointed by Commissioner’s Seghal and Cornell, to serve as the department representative on the Georgia Interagency Homelessness Taskforce. While serving she helped implement policies and procedures, developed community outreach plans, and recruited partnership opportunities. While serving as President of the Atlanta Planning & Advisory Board, Ms. Freeman was appointed by Courtney English, then-chair of the Atlanta Board of Education the original working body, Atlanta Housing Advisory Taskforce which was later renamed, HouseAtl. Mr. English recognized the historic programming, events, and training creating under her leadership, showed her dedication to Atlanta’s neighborhoods and the importance of stakeholder collaborations. After being appointed as the first chair of the Ethics Commission of the Atlanta Board of Education, Ms. Freeman was honored to be in a leadership role in the school system she was educated and graduated in. Jennifer is a sought-out executive leader, top advisor, problem solver, and public speaker with a strong background in government, economic development, education, fundraising/development, community relations, and strategic collaborations. Known for being a thought leader, change agent, and top advisor with a vast network of influencers, policymakers, CEOs, and community and business leaders, Jennifer has a proven track record of transforming administrations, organizations, and creating and implementing unique strategies. Creating solutions that change how neighborhoods, governments, businesses, and community partners work together for collective goals and interests. Her expertise as an advisor, a problem solver, a relationship builder, and organizational development of processes and procedures creates long-term sustainable impact for administrations, organizations, and business enterprises. Jennifer is a guest speaker for various community-related organizations and volunteers with nonprofit and human relations organizations. Her passions include partnering with community-based non-profit initiatives and areas such as housing, economic development, entrepreneurship, education, and policymakers. In addition, Jennifer is a gifted, professionally trained vocalist/songwriter who has worked with well-known Grammy Award-winning and recording musicians such as international superstar and ambassador Youssou N’Dour, Patti LaBelle, Johnny Oneal, Norman Connors, Jerry Peters, Sonny Emory and many more. Ms. Freeman recorded and released her inaugural CD in New York City /Manhattan Center, produced by Norman Connors, legendary producer, musician, and songwriter, along with writer, composer, musician, and Grammy Award-Winning Jerry Peters.
