Chelsea Arkin
Senior Housing Policy and Development Manager, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.
Chelsea joined Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. in 2021 as the Senior Housing Policy and Development Manager. At ABI, Chelsea supports the creation and preservation of affordable housing units along the BeltLine, collaborating with public, private, and nonprofit partners to meet the goal of creating or preserving 5,600 affordable housing units within the BeltLine Tax Allocation District. An Atlanta native, Chelsea has devoted her career to the development of healthy, livable, and equitable communities. Through her previous work with Enterprise Community Partners, the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and most recently with Partners for HOME, Chelsea is committed to providing safe and affordable housing for all. Chelsea earned master’s Degrees in City and Regional Planning and Public Policy from Georgia Tech. Her undergraduate degree is from Bryn Mawr College. When not advocating for affordable housing, Chelsea enjoys exploring Atlanta, serving on the Cabbagetown Neighborhood Improvement Association, seeing live music, and trying to keep her plants alive.
